Peaceful, Progressive and Proportionally Giving Family of Churches
Conversation Among Associations Has Happened...

Tuesday, April 24, 2012 forty two Pastors, church leaders and lay persons in the
churches of the Peace River Baptist Assn, Southwest Florida Assn, and the
Manatee Southern Assn met to discuss the work of the local association.
This historical event was held at Colonial Oaks Baptist on Bee Ridge Rd in Sarasota.
As a result of this conversation each association will be presenting three persons to be part of a
team to continue with a third conversation about how our three associations might work together.
Pastors of our PRBA churches will discuss this further at the May ministers fellowship...see the info for that meeting below.

The following qualified for the State Drills that were held in Apopka, April 21.

We also want to mention Elise Jones, a second grader and member of First

be a part of the state drill because she was too young.  But she did a great
and she and her parents are to be commended for the work she has put in.

The Peace River Baptist Association was proud to be able to assist those taking the
children to the State Drills in the way of providing reimbursement for their fuel.

Verse of the day

“For, “All people are like grass, and all their glory is like the flowers of the field; the grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of the Lord endures forever.” And this is the word that was preached to you.” (1 Peter 1:24-25)  listen to chapter  (Read by Max McLean.
